TraffiCalm’s Ice Warning System is a state-of-the-art solution designed to enhance road safety during icy conditions. It features an infrared road surface temperature sensor that monitors humidity and calculates the dew point, providing real-time detection of ice, especially black ice. This system activates flashing LED rings on signs to warn drivers of icy roads, particularly on bridges and overpasses. The components include an Ice Detection Sensor, E-Series Solar Intelligent Controller, and Warning Sign LED Flasher Ring. This system plays a crucial role in reducing crash factors and improving safety in winter conditions.
