The Solar Traffic Light System is designed to improve pedestrian safety by controlling vehicle traffic approaching the pedestrian crossing and advising pedestrian when it is safe or unsafe to cross. The Solar Traffic Light System is a similar in operation to a standard pedestrian crossing/traffic light system without the complicated wiring between systems or the requirement to trench to run power to each unit. The entire system is powered by a high quality solar powerbank mounted atop the same post as the pedestrian sign and activation button/PIR. The two mounting posts, push buttons/PIR, solar powerbanks, pedestrian crossing signs and optional road studs are independent, wireless systems.
